I Love Hong Kong Reading Website

"I Love Hong Kong Reading Website" was established in 2005 and is a website under the I Love Hong Kong Association. It publishes one article on moral education, national education or liberal studies every Monday to Friday for students from Primary 5 to Secondary 3 to choose from. This aims to help students cultivate good character, enhance their understanding of current affairs and news, and broaden their international perspective.

The articles on "I Love Hong Kong Reading Website" align with the "Curriculum Guidelines for Moral and National Education" implemented by the Education Bureau. The content covers personal, family, community, national, and global topics, allowing students to learn various moral education knowledge at different stages, enhancing their moral character and sense of national belonging. It is suitable for primary and secondary school students. Furthermore, each article includes a quiz section for students to answer after reading, and their scores are recorded in their individual files. This facilitates teachers' tracking of students' reading performance and serves as a basis for assessing other learning experiences and extracurricular reading.

"I Love Hong Kong Channel" is an online student general knowledge video library established by our association in 2009. At that time, online short videos were booming, but there were very few that met the learning needs of students. In view of this, our association launched the channel's short videos, covering the six major areas of general knowledge, social culture, sports and leisure, etc., in order to allow students to learn while having fun, and to consolidate their knowledge and broaden their horizons through sound and images.

Since September 2005, our reading program has been participated in by nearly 400 primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, with a cumulative student registration of over 200,000, and has been widely praised by the education sector.
